In April 2011, Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, also known as Andy Uba, was selected to serve as a senator representing the Anambra South Senatorial District in the Nigerian state of Anambra. He was a candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Born in Enugu on December 14, 1958, Emmanuel Uba attended the Boys High School in Awkunanaw. His family originally came from Uga in the Anambra State LGA of Aguata. Emmanuel Uba claims that he continued his education at Concordia University, although the university has denied that Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba left.
