With the support of this effort, our committed farmers will be able to live better lives and attain financial stability, self-sufficiency, and general prosperity.
Through an effort by the Maharashtra government, our farming community may obtain crop insurance at a remarkably low rate of just 1 percent. Compared to the ordinary Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, which levies a 2 percent premium, this is a significant reduction. Farmers can take advantage of this programme by paying just 1% of their insurance premium. Even though this reduction might not seem like much, it can give our farmers significant financial relief. For the purpose of assisting our farming community, the government is funding this programme with about Rs 3,212 crore annually.

Farmers in Maharashtra will also profit from this programme, and State Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde says they can anticipate receiving their first payout in October. The advantages consist of:
1. Financial support from the federal and state governments.
2. The government would give 6,000 rupees to each farmer.
