NDA and Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC) की सेना, नौसेना और वायु सेना विंग में प्रवेश के लिए योग्य उम्मीदवारों का चयन करने के लिए एनडीए परीक्षा हर साल दो बार आयोजित की जाती है। आगामी वर्ष के लिए, 154वें पाठ्यक्रम और 116वें भारतीय नौसेना अकादमी पाठ्यक्रम (आईएनएसी) के लिए एनडीए परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएगी। पात्र पुरुषों और महिलाओं का चयन लिखित परीक्षा और एसएसबी साक्षात्कार के माध्यम से किया जाएगा। इस साल, संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (यूपीएससी) भारतीय सेना, नौसेना और वायु सेना में अधिकारी रिक्तियों के लिए उम्मीदवारों की भर्ती के लिए 1 सितंबर 2024 को यूपीएससी एनडीए 2 परीक्षा आयोजित करने जा रहा है। एनडीए 2 परीक्षा 2024 के लिए आधिकारिक अधिसूचना 15 मई 2024 को जारी की गई है। अधिसूचना के साथ चयन प्रक्रिया, परीक्षा पैटर्न और अन्य जानकारी सहित पूरा विवरण जारी किया गया है।
